We really enjoy Antique Road Show. There are so many old things to see. I have several things from my parents which mean a lot. Keep up the interesting show.

Vin I am not at all sure how that works, and not every piece will use that...it depends on the individual manufacturer.

Both my wife & I enjoy the show in South Africa. We hardly miss the show. On a recent show, the evaluator aged the piece of as being made in 1898 as it had an "I" in the back of the piece. What happens when one runs out of letters when one gets to Z, or how does it continue???

Barb, they have a forum ..http://discussions.pbs.org/viewforum.pbs?f=109 You might try asking there, perhaps someone will know or be able to direct you.

Is there a way that I can get a list of the dealers that have worked on Antiques Roadshow in the past few years in the mpls area?

William, LoveToKnow is not at alla ffiliated with Antiques Road Show, but I will try to help anyway.

Trevor was a British landscape painter that specialized in watercolors and gouache in the 1920s and 30s. He painted the area around Dartmoor, the Lake District, Wales and Scotland. Thrilmere is a resevoir in the Lake District National Park, ...bria England. While I cannot tell you what your painting might be worth, I can tell you that one of his watercolors recently sold for about $625.00 US dollars. I suggest that you take it to a local appraiser to get it's true worth. I hope this helps.

I have a watercolor drawing called "Thirlmere"by G Trevor in what looks like the original frame. It has a tag on the back of the frame from The Rembrandt Gallery, 12 Water Street,Liverpool 2. I can't find anything about the painting or the painter. Can you help? I enjoy your show.

Landa I am sorry, they sound beautiful but I can't find anything on them either. My guess is that the name Golda is the name of the design of the vase in honor of Golda Meir but that is only a guess. Keep trying.

Hello Cindy - Unfortunately, I am not able to give appraisals. However, you can try visiting What's it Worth to You and find an appraiser who can help you or contact a local antique dealer or appraiser. Good luck with your rockers!

My parents have a pair of Lincoln rockers, about say 1850, cane set and back, excellent condition. Any recommendations for finding the asking value of these rockers? Many thanks!

I want to see what our Rotary Club can do with the Antique road show to come to Richmond,Va. We would like to have a fund raiser. Is this possible? We give 100% of money raised to charities.

Hello Eleanor - Unfortunately, I am not able to give appraisals. To find the value you need to consult a dealer, appraiser or local antique auction house. There are also price guides that are available at most libraries or bookstores where you should be able to identify the pattern and find the value. Good luck with your vase.

I have a few items I'd like you to see. One is an etching done in 1865 by William M. Chase, another is a tiffany vase, as well as a few Rookwood pieces all from the early 1920's. The idea of going to one of your shows is very exciting.Thank You. Missy Burton

I entered a drawing (online) to obtain tickets to the Antique Roadshow in Spokane, WA. I understood the drawing was to be held May 22....if I haven't got word as to the results of the drawing, do I assume I wasn't selected? Thank you in advance for your reply!
