Rick, the value of coins is very variable...depending on the condition, the actual coin etc. We can't do appraisals here, and I generally don't even try to give a ballpark for coins because of those factors. They are worth more than a penny. To find out an exact value take them to a local appraiser. Good luck!
-- Contributed by: Marye AudetI have heard that the 1945 US or Canadian Penny is worth something? I heard that they needed the copper or something for the bullets for the war??? Can this be correct?
-- Contributed by: rickFred, I have seen them recently selling for between $10.00 and $25.00 depending on the condition. I suggest you take it to a local coin appraiser to get a definite and accurate value. Good luck!
-- Contributed by: Marye AudetI have an 1882 canadian silver dime in decent shape...any value?
-- Contributed by: fredcoin, All Canadian coins have Queen Elizabeth on the face. Your coin sounds like a Canadian nickle which would be worth face value depending on the year. Hope this helps.
-- Contributed by: Marye AudetI have in my possession a canadian coin that on one side there is a beaver and the other side there is the Queen Elizabeth II. Can you please let me know if it is worth anything.

-- Contributed by: Uwe SchumannI am a amateur coin collecter, im extremly new to the hobby. I found a canadien penny from 1964. The head on the back of the coin has "pigtails" or longer hair, the more modern coins don't. Could this be a misprint? If you could respond that would be great.
